Kahala and Will met their freshman year at West Point. They played on the rugby teams and so, saw each other frequently. Unbeknown to Kahala, Will had a huge crush on her. He would frequently stop by her room to say "hi" to her roommate; secretely just to see Kahala. Little did Will know, Kahala had a huge crush on him too. Time continued to pass by and Kahala and Will were "just" friends. First semester of their Sophomore year, Kahala and Will both got a concussion the same weekend during their rugby games. Will tried to help Kahala with the concussion testing (because he's done a few himself) and brought her snacks. They would go down to the rugby complex on weekends to do homework and hang out with friends. One weekend Will brought his guitar to the complex. When Kahala heard him sing and play, she jokingly said "Oh my gosh! You can sing and play? Marry me!" to which Will responded "Shut up".

One day Will asked Kahala if she was going to watch the women's soccer game. Originally, she wasn't going to but thought she would give it a shot. Will and Kahala didn't really talk until after the soccer game when he started walking her back to her room until he went off with his friends. Will called Kahala later that night to make sure she got back to her room safely. Long story short, they started hanging out more frequently and eventually Will asked Kahala on a date. The rest is history!

Kahala and Will have been through the high's and low's of rugby and West Point together. They branched Aviation and will soon start flight school in Alabama. They've been to England together and hope to travel the world more in the future. Kahala and Will love going on adventures together, fishing, hunting, relaxing, and riding dirt bikes or in Will's case crashing into Kahala's mom. They will love each other for as long as they live.
